How It Works

What’s the first step?

Browse the selection of sourdough breads and variety packs from the SHOP button on top of the webpage. Each month gives you two opportunities to grab sourdough breads and variety packs. We will also be adding some Limited Purchase products later each month for a la carte purchases. Once you’ve figured out what you want, add it to your cart and checkout.

Please find the Purchase Calendar for order dates & order date deadlines. In short, regular orders must be placed a week before pickup. For example, in February 2022:

FEBRUARY 5th is the deadline for FEBRUARY 12th order

FEBRUARY 19th is the deadline for FEBRUARY 26th order

How do I get my order?

Place your order through the website - just follow the steps to checkout. Please pickup your order at the picked date and time at the San Jose address sent to you in the order confirmation email (the pickup location is near the intersection of Curtner & Booksin).

Additionally, I offer delivery for South Bay Area cities* between 9-5 p.m.. There is an additional charge of $10 and the order minimum is $50.

* South Bay Area cities: San Jose, Campbell, Santa Clara, Los Gatos, Sunnyvale

What’s next?

You eat the delicious breads and pastries baked fresh for you and spread the word!

Do you have licenses/permits to bake & sell food?

I have a valid Cottage Food Operator permit from Santa Clara County Health & Environment Department along with a business license. I also have a Selling permit from the state of California.

What precautions have you taken for food safety?

I have completed a Food Handler’s Safety Training from an ANSI accredited program certificate issuer. I have also taken multiple food safety courses over the last 8 years during my various jobs in the Food Industry, including but not limited to a Kitchen Managers Food & Safety training which is much more stringent and exacting in its demands. I have also finished & procured Santa Clara County’s Covid-19 Protocol Training Certificate for the safety of my customers. All this to say, you know you are in good hands!

Do you charge sales tax?

I do not charge sales tax on any of my products since bakery items sold for consumption not on premises do not fall under sales tax category.
